Hike the historic Six Foot Track, opened in 1884, in comfort and style. Life’s An Adventure can’t do the walking for you, but everything else is taken care of. They’ll carry your backpack and cook you dinner, leaving you free to enjoy the gorgeous landscape, take on the famous swing bridge, go for a swim, and share a drink or two with your fellow hikers.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Walking time: 4-7 hours per day
Walking distance: 10-19 kilometres per day
Difficulty: Medium (with some Hard uphill sections). A good level of fitness is required to complete this hike. Day 2 is mostly uphill for 19 kilometres.
Child friendly: Yes (not suitable for children under 8).
If choosing to do a Jenolan Caves tour at the end of your hike, you can pre-purchase your cave tour on our booking form for AU$50 (includes tour and post-tour transfer to Katoomba via Blue Mountains Bus Company)
If you wish to stay the night at Jenolan Caves, you will need to organise your own transfers via Trolley Tours who run a regular shuttle bus
The tour begins from the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba (the historic start of the original party which surveyed the Six Foot Track). All hikers must be there by 9am sharp.

ITINERARY
Day One
Meet at the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba for a 9am departure.
Descend into the Megalong Valley and stop for lunch.
Continue through the valley and cross the Bowtells Swing Suspension bridge to Cox’s River (a great spot for a swim).
Have dinner and stay the night at a bushwalker’s lodge overlooking the Cox’s River
Day Two
Depart the lodge for a long day of uphill walking (climbing 800 metres over 19 kilometres).
Have dinner and spend the night at Jenolan Caves House.
Day Three
Walk along the steep fire trail down Binoomera Ridge passing Carlotta Arch before arriving at Jenolan Caves between approximately 1.30 – 2.00pm.
You will have some free time before your tour (or transfer to Katoomba with Life’s An Adventure if not taking a tour). Lunch can be purchased at the kiosk at Jenolan Caves House ‐ at your own expense.
Those who took a cave tour will return to Katoomba with Blue Mountains Bus Company, departing at 3:30pm. The bus will arrive at the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba at approximately 4:30pm.
