$2,375 per person (plus $1,500 single supplement for a room to yourself)
From May to August, the four-day Arkaba walk runs as The Long Weekender, with a slightly different walking itinerary. This new package departs every Thursday and includes a flight from Adelaide to Port Augusta and a transfer to Arkaba Homestead. At the end of your trip, you’ll be taken by road back to Adelaide, taking in gorgeous outback towns and stopping for lunch and wine tasting in the Clare Valley.
In between, you’ll traverse the ancient landscape of the Flinders Ranges in style, walking with only a day pack and returning to established private camps each night where attention is paid to every detail. You’ll enjoy a three-course camp meal and a bush shower each night before sleeping in comfort and waking to incredible views. During the day you’ll soak up the natural, Aboriginal and European history of the area, and have the opportunity to spot emus, kangaroos, wallabies, and incredible birdlife.
